Oh ok, so they're just assholes who aren't informed on anything about him besides him being "trash" and jealous/envious of him taking a beauty prodigy as his wife. I see, I can't wait to see how they react after his identity is revealed. Though they should be smart enough to comprehend high ranking respected men are showing the utmost respect and more, you'd think they'd catch on like this dude must be important/have status or crazy strong.

10 episodes, you are literally saying I gotta wait over a month! The plot is good, but seriously this is like trying to watch a streaming movie or video that stops every 3 seconds to buffer. The movie can be fantastic but the way its presented is a huge turn off. Its like this, "Hello my name is" ......, wait a week, "Simon and I would like"....... wait a week, "to tell you "....... wait a week, "a story".

I can't deal with this nonsense that china does. I don't understand it and I hate it. It seems like china is hell bent on always trying to copy and make something cheaper and shttier.... 4 or 5 minute episodes work when done properly like Looney Tunes(bugs bunny, daffy duck, road runner etc.), Tom and Jerry shorts, cause you get a complete story in that 4 or 5 minute short. This turning a full blown anime into 4 or 5 minute nonsense is just more china bootlegging to make a quick buck. Instead of making 20 minutes a week, we do 10 minutes make same money for less content ..... I don't see how this business model works but I never understood China.

2 episodes per week, sama as few other short ones.

Take for example Against the Sky Supreme or Wu Shen Zhu Zai. Those two run 2 episodes per week continuously without season breaks long time now. I only hope that episode number on myanimelist for this one is false, it would really suck if there were 20 only. But, the two mentioned before same had fixed number there which is long since passed

I like donghua but those shows you listed are right there on the list of shows that I watch monthly , I wait a while to build up 10+ episodes then I watch. Some are at the point where I can watch weekly but even then I like to wait 2 weeks sometimes to let the episodes build up. But that is the thing I hate about donghua in general , the only real shows that I consider top tier donghua are shows that put out at least 15 minutes PERIOD, anything else I consider leftovers. Example, soul land, swallowed star, battle through heavens fbs, kings avatar, the outcast, full time magister etc. I watch the other stuff cause its China growing I assume, I started watching anime in early 90's, with dragon ball and vampire hunter d etc. so I understand growth. I do appreciate the volume of donghua china puts out which is its only saving grace as in I get 1 or 2 sometimes 3 different 5 min shows a day. I do like how china moves forward or stops a show a lot better than japan. Ive watched shows that have had season 1 air like 5-10+ years ago and then suddenly season 2 is out .... like wtf, who remembers this and what marketing strategy are they using cause half the people that liked it probably moved on in life lol. Like guess I gotta go rewatch cause wtf this last aired 5+ years ago. But donghuas show less content via 5 -15 minute episodes weekly, which is overall less yearly so they are sorta cheating imo....

Swallowed star and Soul Land are not top tier. Swallowed star weak point is the story. It starts good, gets better on universe entrance and then it is just WTF???? It is one of mediocre novels. In short after this and next season, content quality drops

Soul Land on the other hand is short story 360 chapters only (animation is at ch.268). Yet, animation is so long because they keep repeating same content for more than one month or inventing bs content. Like 2 or 3 months of stair climbing. Or the arena fights which were same timeline. And to make it worse, original novel is mediocre as well

King's Avatar is a good novel where animation is so bad that story is ruined completely. Live action series is far better, but it seems there will never be season 2 even though season 1 was great success financially

BTTH is one that I agree with.

For reference Wu Shen Zhu Zai is now at around chapter 500 or so. And they follow novel to the point. Sadly, novel is at 5200+ and far from finished

I don't consider 5 minute shows to even be in the listing! If the company or studio can't even put out more than 10 minutes a week then yea, bottom tier. Thats the way I see it! To even get to the rankings you gotta have standard air time imo!

Heh, that's not just problem with short episodes. Manga and anime have the same problem. Take Boruto for example... manga is coming out so slowly that right now 80% of episodes were pointless fillers which is far worse if you ask me. I stopped watching it long ago and only way I'm rewatching it if someone does cleanup like it was done for Naruto. There are tons of them like Made in Abyss (who even remembers the 1st season now that season 2 will finally be out) or Bleach (10 years to wait for last arc which is not only bad, but downright horrible) and so on.

It really doesn't matter if episode is 3 or 20 minutes, but I still prefer 3 minutes of content than 20 minutes of bs ;)
